ATCO Karratha Power Station (WA)
Background
ATCO is a world-class developer, construction manager, owner and operator of technologically advanced and environmentally progressive independent power generation plants.
ATCO Power Australia has ownership in, and operates, three power generation facilities in Australia.
The ATCO Karratha Power Station was commissioned in 2010 and is the most efficient and environmentally friendly power generation facility connected to the North West Interconnected System in the Pilbara. The 86MW facility generates electricity to supply residential and business consumers under a long term power off take contract with Horizon Power.
Our role
Thomson Bridge has been commissioned to undertake a review of the Karratha Power Station’s HV operating procedures and safe access systems. Once this review is complete, we will develop tailored training materials for on site training delivery.
