The purpose of setting minimum levels of worker competence is to achieve the required minimum quality standards to prevent injury to workers, protect the public and their property from harm and prevent damage to assets.
Thomson Bridge provides a wide range of Initial and Refresher training for workers of Distribution & Transmission Network Owners and Contractors across Australia.
This training includes Nationally accredited Units of Competency and non accredited modules mandated by Industry and Network owners. All Refresher training and Competency Assessment is delivered by Trainers with Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
Our Energy professionals have career experiences and skills that contribute to the design and delivery of flexible and relevant high and low voltage operating, electrical access, heights, rescue, first aid and confined space training. Across Australia and internationally, we work with electricity Networks to design and deliver training programs for High Voltage Operations, Low Voltage Operations and Electrical Safe Access Procedures consistent with:
- Network Electrical Safety Management Systems and Procedures
- Regulatory requirements and Codes of Practice.
