Jason Sullivan

Advisory Committee

Jason has 37 years in the electrical transmission and distribution powerline industry including both construction and maintenance. His roles have been mainly as a Team Leader and Supervisor coordinating work teams, equipment and major plant for major construction and maintenance projects.

For the last 8 years Jason's role has been training and assessing for one of Australia’s biggest transmission providers in Transmission Lineman, Hotstick and Barehand qualifications. He has been the leader in the development of organizational policies, procedures, and work methods and also instrumental in the researching, sourcing, and development of specialized tooling in the Live work methods space.

Jason's role also included conducting both desktop and field audits on maintenance services providers in general work practice, Hotstick, Barehand and Barehand Platform work methods and compliance to legislation, standards, and organizational work practices.

He has a long-standing commitment to the Australian Industry Standard’s Technical Advisory Committee reviewing and updating ESI National Training Packages and sits on the Austalian National live Work Practices Forum including 3 years as Chairman of the group.
