John Henderson
Trainer and Assessor – Electrical Supply Industry
John is responsible for the delivery of Electrical Supply Industry training to clients across the transmission, distribution and rail networks.
John is passionate about the development and delivery of relevant and impactful training experiences to the younger generation of ESI workers.
Experience
John is an experienced Transmission Live Line professional. He has spent 16 years at AusNet Services (Victoria) undertaking the management of construction and maintenance projects across the Victorian transmission network.
John was responsible for the supervision of work groups undertaking maintenance programs and overseeing the delivery of technical and compliance training programs for his team. He also managed the AusNet training facility.
John has experience in interfacing with internal stakeholders such as the Primary, Secondary and Communications teams and external stakeholders, such as tier one contractors and landowners.
John commenced his career as an apprentice Transmission Line worker. He has undertaken extensive Live Line work, both EHV stick and bare hand disciplines up to 500kV
